Confirmed Mission - Send Off - COL Anthony Funkhouser, USACE, Tulsa, OK, 5 JUL 10
Friends, staff and family of Col. Anthony Funkhouser, USACE, have requested the PGR stand a flagline at the Tulsa International Airport (TUL) for a special Send-Off, Monday 5 Jul 2010.
Commander of the Army Corps of Engineers, Tulsa District for the past three years, Col. Funkhouser will take command of a Corps of Engineers District in Afghanistan.
Col. Funkhouser's Tulsa District command included an extraordinary year during which the Tulsa District executed its largest program in recent memory that included the base Civil Works and Military programs, plus Base Realignment and Closure activity, two Congressional Supplemental funding measures and the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act.
Staging: 0800 - Short Term Parking at the Aiport
Please bring your flags (be sure and get a ticket, anticipate paying the minimum parking fee).
At 0815 we will move to the Departure area, meet with the friends and family and form up our
flagline.
