Our past BACA President, Scootr, is in the process of creating a dream, not only for himself and his wife, but for all of us.  It's called "Biker Park" and is located near Canon City, Colorado.  He's requesting our help by taking a brief survey.  Please go to http://www.bikerpark.com then click on the survey link.  It takes only a couple minutes and will really help our brother and sister out.  More about Scootr project:
What is Rocky Mountain Biker Park?
Rocky Mountain Biker Park is soon to be Colorado's first motorcycle only campground/lodging establishment. That's right! Motorcycle only from May through  September. Lodging will include cabins, tipis, wall tents (aka outfitter tents) all with beds and linens and plenty of primitive tent sites. We'll also have  a limited number of RV parking spots and parking for tow vehicles both of which will be outside the actual campground area because from May through September  it will be motorcycles only in the campground area. The cabins will all have covered parking for the motorcycles. There will be two shower/restroom/laundry  facilities. The onsite store will have cold drinks, snacks, ice, motorcycle gear, camping gear and there will be the "hard to pack" camping equipment  available for rent like lanterns and coolers etc. There will also be a self service maintenance shop with tools and a lift should your ride need some  tweaking. We will have available a small inventory of parts like spark plugs, oil and filters, mirrors, footpegs, etc. You won't find the fancy billet pieces  you've been looking for but if you lose a footpeg, we probably will have one that will fit to keep you on the road. If you should have any problems with your  bike while out riding during your stay with us, just call and we'll come tow you back to the campground and do our best to help get you back on the road,  even if that means we have to haul your bike to a local shop. Unfortunately, there will not be a restauraunt onsite (at least not initially) but there is a  cafe/diner just five miles up the road serving breakfast, lunch and dinner and then all kinds of dining choices in Canon City just 11 miles away.
