Amen... our road guards knew the dangers, accepted them, did their jobs, and were unfortunately injured saving the necks of the other 50-60 bikers. THANK YOU FOR YOUR DEDICATION!!!! WE ALL OWE YOU (ALL ROAD GUARDS) A DEBT OF GRADITUDE. For those that have not heard yet.... it was a scenario similar to Blanchard Ok (Ok.'s 100 mile ride destination), where a hill on the highway posed a danger for the group gettin on the highway from a county road. we sent roadguards on the other side of the hill to ride at a reduced speed to slow traffic while the group got on the highway safely. A *^%(&%head in a cage (foriegn car no less) attempted to pass our road guards on the INSIDE SHOULDER, forcing one road guard into another. result, 2 brothers road rashed like hell, 1 concusion, and 2 f*&$ed up bikes. troopers issued NO CITATIONS!!! (guess it's ok to pass in the center median if it is ONLY bikers). the members of our different chapter in Oklahoma went right to work as a team, directing traffice, stabilizing necks, backs, and rendering aid while that *&%$head in the cage never exited the vehicle until law enforcement showed. guess he was lucky that we were so worried about our brothers that we did not flip his cage over. good thing...our brothers are still with us to ride another day and the 2nd childride went on to support another child.
I saw one of our members taking cell phone photos of the vehicle and driver that was involved, please send them to me! I would appreciate it. always L&R Slambo
