OCIB and many others lost a brother when Don Lowe died!!!!
I wanted to let you and all our biker family know that Donnie Lowes Memorial service will be Tuesday September 26th at 2:00pm at the Church of God on 9th St. here in Pawhuska. I hope to see everyone who knew and loved my Uncle Donnie, he will be a great loss to us all, he truely was a great and strong man, but he also missed his momma dearly. This has been a very hard week, I keep waiting for him to pull up and honk that horn and of course wait for me to go out to the truck, I know he won't be doing that anymore, but at least I got spent the whole weekend with him at the rally and he came to see me Monday, he told me that he would be back to check on me and that he loved me, just like he would always tell me...Donnie was not my uncle by blood, and he was only 6 yrs. older than me, but he called my mom his "SIS", so that is all i ever knew him as and that was "MY UNCLE DONNIE". I would also like to ask that if anyone has any pictures of him from any of the rallys, please email them to me, his family has asked me to get some so that they will have them for his memorial, they knew the rally was an important time for him, and he always looked forward to May and September. "Uncle Donnie, I love you and I will miss you, but you will always be in my heart....but who will keep an eye on my at the rallys....i know you will be watching me up in heaven and I know that is where you are...Uncle Donnie you are with your momma now. I will love you and i will never ever forget our special visits."
