SEX OFFENDER LIST UPDATE FOR PONCA CITY-From PCPD

Re: Verification of Sex Offender Addresses
A joint effort between Officers of the Ponca City and the local Probation and Parole Office took place last Thursday. The thrust of the effort was to confirm that the 45 convicted sex offenders who have registered their addresses within the city limit of Ponca City with law enforcement officials are indeed living where they have declared. Many stipulations have been imposed by state law as to where these convicted sex offenders are allowed to live. All but four of the 45 registered sex offenders living within the city limits of Ponca City were confirmed as living at the address they have registered and on file. Officers will submit warrant requests to the District Attorney’s Office asking that charges be filed against the three offenders that were not in compliance with registration requirements. The fourth subject that was found not to be in compliance, Peter Cramer 45 year old Indian male who had last registered his address as 312 South Second, has an outstanding warrant from last July when law enforcement officials attempted to confirm his address as the one he had registered. Two of the 45 are currently being held in the Kay County Jail on unrelated charges and one has moved to the Billings area and registered with Noble County Officials.
