Patriot Guard Riders Mission Statement.   The Patriot Guard Riders is a diverse amalgamation of riders from across the nation. We have one thing in common besides motorcycles. We have an unwavering respect for those who risk their very lives for America’s freedom and security. If you share this respect, please join us.  We don’t care what you ride, what your political views are, or whether you’re a "hawk" or a "dove". It is not a requirement that you be a veteran. It doesn't matter where you’re from or what your income is.  You don’t even have to ride. The only prerequisite is Respect.  Our main mission is to attend the funeral services of fallen American heroes as invited guests of the family. Each mission we undertake has two basic objectives. 1. Show our sincere respect for our fallen heroes, their families, and their communities.  2. Shield the mourning family and friends from interruptions created by any protestor or group of protestors.  We accomplish the latter through strictly legal and non-violent means.

Testimonial Statement:
"I commend the Patriot Guard Riders, a group of dedicated individuals who upon seeing an injustice, chose to rise up and not permit anyone to dance on sacred ground. At funerals around the country, they have ridden in on their motorcycles, with American flags waving, signaling to those present that they are there to protect the families as they mourn their loss."
- Chairman of the House Committee on Veterans Affairs Steve Buyer (IN)

Just returned from Vinita from Justin Noyes funeral. It is some you don't want to see, but it is something every American should see. I think that the whole town of Vinita came out to see one of their heroes go by. They lined both sides of the street from one end of the town to the other. Many were waving Old Glory and others had their hand over their heart. Traffic was stopped and there were truckers standing beside their rigs in total respect.

This is what every funeral and progression should look like for someone that gave the ULTIMATE sacrifice for his country. The same sacrifice that allows cowardly protesters to gather any where they please. There was not a protester to be seen and I for one was glad.

While I was riding in the procession and seeing all of the townpeople standing in respect I could not help but shed a few tears. These were tears of joy and pride. It is things that make me proud to be an American.

God Bless America and Godspeed Marine Noyes.
