Good Day Cregg,
Below is the response Lynette received from one of Jerry Morans aids.  Please use the information as you think it will be the most beneficial.  It is important that we let our Congressmen and Representives know our feelings.

Hi Lynette –

I’m so sorry to hear about Loren’s accident.  I wish him a quick recovery.

Your email this morning about the new National Cemetery Administration policy on flag folding was the first I’d heard of this issue – that is, until about an hour ago when I started receiving emails from congressional staffers who are concerned as well.  Tell Loren he has good intelligence.  I’ve already spoken to the House Veterans Affairs Committee staff and you can bet we’ll be taking a close look at this one.  The VA has some explaining to do.  I’ll let you know what happens.

Hello Jeremy--

Loren just recieved an email this morning regarding a new issuance of policy at National cemeteries to EXCLUDE the flag folding ceremony due to its 'reference to GOD'--although they said on the news clip that it was issued to create uniformity.

I think if this is to be true, it's time the veterans organizations storm DC.   This is ridiculous!!   If it offends someone, Let the families decide!!!!!   Those offended, can simply ask not to have it done at their loved ones service.

Just thought maybe you could check this out for me.

Thanks for checking into this for us.   It is an important issue we need to address IF indeed it is true.

Tell Jerry hello for us.
