Hello, Everyone--

I got word this afternoon from Holly, ABATE's Political Director, that
due to the flood of phone calls to their offices from only the past
eight hours, Senators Ballenger and Barrington are going to allow SB
1700, the Motorcycle Stoplight Bill, to be heard in committee. She has
asked us to stop calling their offices, and from that, I get the
impression the Action Alert was successful. As a result, I'm
terminating the Oklahoma Action Alert, effective this evening. That
just shows what a major impact can be made when a large number of
Americans act with unity of purpose--score one for our side! Of
course, this is just the first step, and we'll need to support this
bill all the way to the Governor's desk. Many thanks to all of you who
took the time to call. Have a good week, and Ride free and Safely!!

In Liberty,
Tiger Mike
State Coordinator,
ABATE of Oklahoma, Inc.
