Check us out on:
WWW.MYSPACE.COM/THREESANDSABATEtions. With that said I can’t think of a better one
than that of our own service personnel or disabled
veterans, that are not getting as much help from
our government as needed, but would like to do
from a grass roots level. Because of our size of
chapter and logistics that we have should pick one
and do the best that we can. What do you think let
me know?
We are working on new web site that will
be easy for all to access.
www.threesandsabate.com<http://www.threesandsabate.com> it is in the
starter stage mode working on getting better software.
Also believe that we still need to become
501(3)(c) compliant on taxes we a have good
start will take some work from several people to
complete. And I want to thank all the officers past
and present for their tireless effort and work and
dedication to this organization.
Charles Criner
President
Hello, Three Sands ABATE as the new
president I have been asked what I think our
chapter goals should be I would like to share with
my thoughts. I believe that we need more member
involvement in this organization. First we need to
put together a membership drive. There are 93,000
registered motorcycles in Oklahoma. ABATE has
only 600 members that is 0.65% of registered
motorcycles owners and members that are fighting
for all of our riding rights. I think if we all work at
recruiting new members it will help get us a larger
voice in what happens at legislative branch. Second
would like more members to attend some monthly
meetings and I know that everyone has time constraints
as well as other organizational activities but
input is important e-mail or phone communication
works also when questions come up.
Also would like to see this chapter set a
goal on what we do to help charities or organiza

and possible jail-time) for people causing accidents
while using cell phones. We also discussed the Red
Light Bill and the Right to Repair Bill which would
insure that manufacturers would make available
the information and tools needed to work on our
own vehicles. Later in the morning, we presented
awards to Senators Bass, Barrington, and Ballenger
as well as Representatives Sullivan, Wesselhoft and
McNeil for all the help with sponsoring Bills. All in
all the breakfast was a success. It could have been
better attended, so if you can make it next time,
it is well worth the effort. It is a great time and
an excellent opportunity to meet new Brothers.
Speaking of meeting new Brothers, come out and
join us for the Red Cross Poker Run March 15th
and we will be holding our Annual Hospice Poker
Run on April 5th. See you then. Keep the shiny
side up.
Garry 2R Canaday
Three Sands Road Captain
Greetings Brothers and Sisters of Three Sands,
I hope that everyone has been holding up well
against this Oklahoma weather. If your anything like
me cabin fever is starting to set in. Just remember
to take a little extra time to check over your scoot
before taking off. And you know that there will be
plenty of sand on the road just for added excitement,
so please take a little extra care out there.
I want to thank all of the Three Sands folks for
showing up to defend all of our biker freedoms. I
am very proud to be a part of one of the most
active ABATE Chapters in the state. I think we had
