K-I-S-S, Kids Involved Supporting Soldiers, is a non-profit 501c(3) Foundation. We are committed to ensuring our returning wounded soldiers are able to live a life of quality without unnecessary hardship. K-I-S-S is hosting our 1st. Annual Oklahoma Heroes Benefit Festival, Saturday August 2, 2008, to raise money for our wounded Oklahoma soldiers. Following the concert we will hold a public vigil to honor all of our fallen soldiers across the nation. Governor Henry and the First Lady will be invited, as will other public officials to attend and speak at this event. We are working with Oklahoma Rep. Ray McCarter, Mary Ellen Saur, Director at the Soldier and Family Assistance Center, at Fort Sill Military Base and other military and public officials to plan and support this event. Proudly, 90% of the monies raised at the concert will directly benefit the soldiers. Please join with us and help our injured military men and women. Our American troops have never hesitated when called upon to protect and defend, so let it be without hesitation, we now come to their aid and treat them with the honor deserving of a Hero. This is an enormous task that will require a community and state wide effort to be successful.
