The family asks the Patriot Guard Riders to honor their father, PFC Homer Drywater, WWII veteran. This warrior was awarded the Bronze Star 5 times as well as the Bronze Arrowhead and Purple Heart. The Bronze Arrowhead denotes that his participation was either on the amphibious assault, parachuted in, or was on a glider dropped behind the enemy on Normandy in Operation Overlord (D-Day). He fought his way across France and survived the Battle of the Bulge. He is recipient of the EAMAT (European, African, Middle East Theater) Ribbon, and numerous other awards. This Mission will be an escort of the hero and family from Reed-Culver Funeral Home, 117 W Delaware St. Tahlequah, OK for a 2:00 pm service at Fort Gibson National Cemetery.

MSG Willy Manfred Weber began his US Army service in December 30, 1957 and retired in June 5, 1987. He was a Tactical Communication Systems Operator/Field Radio Repairman. MSG Willy Manfred Weber received the following awards while serving his country: Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal (9), Army Commendation Medal (2), Overseas Service Ribbon (3), Meritorious Service Medal, Army Service Medal, Combat Infantry Badge, German Army Marksmanship Award (Bronze), Nuclear Duty Position Roster (3), National Defense Service Medal, Bronze Star Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Advisory Medal, Vietnam Counteroffensive III, IV, V.

Service will be August 14, 2017 at 1130 hrs. at the Whinery-Huddelston Funeral Home in Lawton, OK. Escort to Fort Sill National Cemetery for a 1300 hrs. service. The Fort Sill Honor Guard will perform military honors.
